RESERVATION AND REFUND POLICIES
Reservations are entered on the Casa Gatos Calendar upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the rental, the balance to be paid thirty days before the arrival date. Reservations received less than thirty days before arrival will require payment of the full amount of the rental. For reservations six months or more in advance, special terms can be arranged, 25% with the reservation, 25% three months before arrival and the balance thirty days before arrival. We will hold your dates for one week pending receipt of your deposit. Should you need more time, please contact us, and we will try to accommodate you. Cancellations sixty days or more before arrival may incur a charge of five to ten percent of the initial deposit to cover processing costs, credit card fees, etc. Cancellations thirty to sixty days before arrival forfeit 50% of the deposit. Cancellations received less than thirty days before arrival may forfeit the complete deposit which can be applied toward a future reservation at the discretion of the owners.
CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 3 P.M. AND CHECKOUT is 10 A.M.
This is a NON SMOKING property. Smokers are requested to restrict their smoking to the designated outdoor areas only.
PETS are permitted in rental units only with prior approval of the owners, and will be subject to a separate agreement between the owners and renters. $50.00 per pet fee applies.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests in Suite 100 is three (3), in Suite 102 is two (2), in Suite 103 is four (4) and in the Townhouse is six (6). An additional charge or $25.00 per person per night for guests over the maximum will be assessed.
MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a three (3) night minimum stay, except in High Season when the minimum stay is five (5) nights. One week minimum stays are required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than the minimum, the rate may be subject to a twenty percent (20%) surcharge.
SPECIAL RATES - can be negotiated for long term rentals can be negotiated upon request.
TAXES: Value Added Tax (IVA) is 16% and the Lodging Tax is 3%.
LINENS AND TOWELS - Rates include a change of linens and bath towels once a week. If you require new towels before then, please leave dirty towels on the floor. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property, however we provide extra beach towels for your use.
DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – six days per week, except Sundays is included in the rate.
PARKING – Parking space for a maximum of two (2) cars is available opposite the entrance.
FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – Any booking obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
